Living must be spiritually centered. Human beings naturally seek harmony with themselves, others and their environment. We are naturally good, creative and caring. But life becomes unbalanced when we focus overly on physical, material and mental priorities---and lack spiritual foundation, expression and growth. Loneliness and fear seep in, as well as a sense of being unfulfilled, empty and separate from others. When we place too much emphasis on physical, material and mental / intellectual goals they in fact become vulnerable, compromised, and even destructive. This is true for us as individuals, as families, communities, societies, even as a species.

At the Godspeed Institute we seek connection with and guidance from those who understand and teach the history, purpose and practices of the world's religious and spiritual wisdom---those who remind us to stay rooted in our heart, breath, soul, spirit or higher selves, and those who help us evolve into spiritually centered beings. We explore and celebrate the wealth of our diverse spiritual heritage as a source of knowledge, a path leading toward tolerance, and a way for all people to learn about and strengthen spiritual life skills.
